How the index was built
Business types were chosen by walking the seven industry pages and six district pages and asking which operations appear in Harare in enough volume to matter. The "opportunity" column is the operation where hours are lost to messaging, paperwork or reminders; the "constraint" column is the sourced Harare fact that bounds the design (power, connectivity, currency, fiscalisation, informality, WhatsApp-first customers, data protection). The "pattern" column points at a use-case description, not a product.
What the index is not: a market-size estimate, a pricing guide, or an endorsement of any vendor. For costs use the ROI calculator on Business AI. Rows are revised when a source changes; the version date is in the cite-as line. Suggest a row or a correction through the contact page.
