How this site is written and checked
Who writes
All articles carry the byline of Evert Vorster, Founder, AI Automated Solutions. Reference pages (districts, industries, connectivity, events, the index) are compiled by the same author. There are no pseudonymous or AI-generated bylines. Language tools are used for drafting and checking; every fact, number and source is placed and verified by the author.
The publisher is an implementation company. Commercial content is confined to services in Harare and contact; editorial pages do not recommend the publisher's services in the body text.
What counts as a source
- Regulators and statistics agencies first: POTRAZ sector reports, ZimStat census and surveys, ZERA, RBZ, ZIMRA public notices.
- Institutions' own websites for their own facts (hubs, universities, venues, event organisers).
- Dated reporting from named outlets (Techzim, NewZimbabwe, NewsDay, The Herald, Property Wheel, Space in Africa, Context) when it cites a primary source.
- Wikipedia only for stable reference facts (founding dates, geography), and only where its own citations exist.
Unsourced figures circulating online (for example "billions circulate through Mbare") are not repeated, even when widely quoted. Where two credible sources measure differently (POTRAZ subscription penetration versus surveys of individuals online) we show both and say which we use. Worked examples are labelled "illustrative" and use round numbers.
Update cadence
Connectivity figures: after each POTRAZ quarterly report. Power: when ZESA or ZERA publish material changes. Events: after each edition and at least quarterly. Districts and industries: at least twice a year. The index: version-dated on its page. Every page footer shows the last review date for the site; articles show published and updated dates.
Facts used across the network are logged in a shared research library with URL and access date so that sibling publications do not diverge.
Corrections
Send the page URL, the claim, and a source to ai@aiautomatedsolutions.net. Material corrections are made within seven days and noted on the page with the date. Requests to remove a correctly sourced fact are declined; requests to add context are usually accepted.
